About the Celebrant

Before being appointed a Civil Marriage Celebrant in 1995, I had a long career in education, spanning primary education, secondary education, teacher education and adult education.

Many of the interests that I have cultivated over the years contribute to the professional standards that are important to me in offering the very best service to each couple planning a wedding. (e.g. my interest in music, literature and theatre.)

My "new" profession has been a great joy to me. I have met many new friends and have been privileged to be the celebrant at some 2000 ceremonies. On those occasions it has been my honor to join with the families for this important day in their lives and to give of my best to make their day one they will always be proud of.
